Well it’s that time of year again – Spring engagement session time. We just love it! And where better to capture love than in a beautiful NJ Park engagement session. The grass is green at last, the trees are bursting out, and flowers are in bloom. Sayen Gardens in Hamilton, NJ is one of those beautiful locations. This was our first time using Sayen Gardens, but it won’t be our last. Sayen Gardens has over 1,000 azalea bushes which were in bloom when we met up with Michele, Nick, and their cute dog Penny. Check out Penny’s necklace – SO cute!
Michele and Nick brought several outfits, which is fun. It gives us more options for shooting if we have both a dress or skirt and pants to work with. Michele also brought a few pairs of shoes including a flat pair for walking around the park. Sayen Gardens is a fun park to explore. We were in one location thinking how beautiful it is and then we would walk to another and think “Wow” this is gorgeous too.
One thing to remember, if you plan to bring a dog to your engagement session, it’s important that you also bring another person to hold your pooch while we get photos of the two of you. In this case, Nick’s mom came along and held on to Penny while we were photographing the two of them without Penny.
Both Michele and Nick have great, infectious smiles and it’s clear they are so in love with each other. We hope they love their engagement photos as much as we loved taking them. We are so looking forward to their December wedding at The Palace at Somerset. Maybe we will get some snow (just a little please, not too much). Backlit snow is fun. For now though, we are totally enjoying Spring and another beautiful NJ park engagement session with our awedom clients.
Enjoy another Spring!
All the best, Ron and Gwynne Wade
