Getting Ready Location: Mom’s House in Lavellette, NJ

Ceremony: St. Peter’s Church in Point Pleasant, NJ

Reception, & Catering: The Breakers in Spring Lake, NJ

It was wonderful to document the New Jersey Shore wedding and reception of Maribeth and Andy which had us moving to 3 very beautiful locations on the New Jersey Shore.  The day started with Maribeth and her bride’s maids getting ready at her Mom’s Lavallette home which was recently renovated after sustaining damage from Superstorm Sandy.

Here is a photo of their wedding rings and Marbeth’s hairpiece.  Since the wedding was shore-themed, we decided to get some sand from the local beach and use it in our photo.

She had a beautiful strapless, ivory gown with a full train and an empire waist.  The portrait was taken in the natural light coming through a window.

The ceremony took place at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Point Pleasant, NJ.  It is a lovely church with a balcony which allowed Ron to stay down close to take photos while I went up into the balcony to get the full view.St Peter's Catholic Church hosts the New Jersey Shore Wedding

Later we got a portrait of Maribeth and Andy outside the church in a side courtyard.

Before the reception started, we stopped at a cute bridge in Silver Lake. We also took some photos on the beach of the couple as well as the whole bridal party.

I might say the bridal party was having a ball playing in the sand…

Continuing with the shore theme, there were cute table decorations.  Each table was labeled with a different New Jersey shore town.

And the cake carried the New Jersey Shore wedding theme too!

The couple took their cake cutting to the extreme and let’s just say that they wore as much as they ate, but everyone had fun watching.

And finally there was a lot of dancing and festivities.  I also leave you with a portrait of the couple.  Our thanks to Maribeth and Andy for letting us share their special day.  New Jersey Shore weddings are a lot of fun and it gave us ample opportunity for some fun photos.Bride and groom dancing, wedding portrait
