Getting Ready Location: Newark, NJ
Ceremony: Proclaim Righteousness Church in Newark, NJ
Reception, & Catering: The Atrium in West Orange, NJ
Another beautiful NJ wedding and reception! We want to thank our lovely bride Neysha and her best friend and groom Melvin for inviting us to capture their NJ wedding. They both had huge smiles the whole day and their love for each other was so clear. Their families were also warm and gracious! The ceremony was held in a church in Newark and the fabulous reception was hosted at The Atrium in West Orange, a Best of Weddings Hall of Fame winner from the Knot.
The day started out with guys and girls getting ready photos in different locations. Neysha and her ladies were in a family member’s home. She wore very practical, but sparkly shoes and her mom helped her on with her lovely bracelet.
One of Gwynne’s favorite times is before the wedding when she has the bride alone to capture the bride looking her beautiful best.
Meanwhile, Ron captured the guys getting ready at a nearby hotel. They had some fun before the ceremony.
While Melvin and the rest of the bridal party headed to the church in their party bus, Neysha caught a ride with a friend and arrived at the church in style.
At the church, waiting to go in with her father, exchanging rings, and then after the ceremony in the party bus on the way to the reception. Such love all day!
After the ceremony we headed to Branch Brook Park to take some outdoor formal portraits.
We love to watch for those special moments that always happen at a wedding like the happy and proud father watching his daughter’s first dance. Just look at that smile! Also, taking advantage of the available light, Ron captured a beautiful image of the couple’s first dance.
Just a few of the many lovely details from the reception. The flowers were lovely and the treats for the kids were really colorful and cute!
All the usual fun that happens at the wedding. Check out the guy on the right who looks like he would do anything to avoid catching the garter!
Well, I’m not really sure I have to say anything about this photo, their love just shines. We are so lucky to be NJ wedding photographers – it just means so much to us to be able to capture these images and share them with the bride, groom, and their families. Thanks again to Neysha and Melvin – we wish them all the best now and forever! – Gwynne and Ron
