Once upon a summer evening there was a beautiful wedding at A Place on the Lake in New Brunswick. NJ wedding photography doesn’t get much better than this! The starring roles this evening were the beautiful bride Luisa and her handsome groom Greg. The ceremony was magical and the family and guests had a spectacular time, however what was most evident was the love that Luisa and Greg shared for each other.
The air was warm and the lake provided a perfect backdrop for the ceremony as the sun started to set, but I’m getting ahead of myself, let’s look back at how the day started. Luisa and her bridesmaids had some fun and fought back some tears as they got ready. Luisa made two very cute signs to be carried down the aisle and everyone looked so pretty in the lovely shade of plum purple.
Meanwhile the guys had some fun and Ron captured a great shot of Greg and his best man. Look at those smiles! You can tell Greg (on the right) just can’t wait for the ceremony.
One of our favorite NJ wedding photography moments is when the bride and groom first see each other. Greg started out all smiles, then got teary eyed as Luisa was escorted by her father up to meet him.
And aren’t they cute walking out together. That’s the excited love and job I’m talking about!
Another favorite moment – the first dance and the parent dances!
Greg and Luisa both love cats and in fact they now share ownership of Greg’s Bengal cat. Although as a cat lover, I know no one truly owns a cat, you simply have a house that they live in and they allow you to feed them and occasionally pet them. 🙂 Anyway, I thought the kitty cake topper was SO cute! The Dance Floor Rules were also a lot of fun and believe us, there was lots of fun going on and yes, some people did wear ties around their heads.
All in all it was a beautiful evening and as always we are lucky to do NJ wedding photography. Sparklers aren’t legal in NJ, so we did some light painting instead. We think it tells the story of the love of Greg and Luisa – it’s going to go on forever! We thank Greg and Luisa for selecting us to capture their special day.
All the best, Gwynne (and Ron too)
